The economy has been tough in my freelance writing life. By the end of 2008, things were moving fast and I saw my goals and intentions close.
2009 ruined everything. The job is paid better, but the gigs also seem to be less than before (and not just because of the pay increase). I’ve heard that the freelance market — especially ghostwriting and web content writing — tends to slacken in the first year of the year. It’s nice to know this in the first few months so that I can prepare for this year, but afterwards it’s 20/20.
Yesterday doesn’t matter because I can’t help it. Today I have to keep pushing my freelance writing to get where I want to be.
Growing Freelance Writing Opportunities
1. Consider Advertising – There are many companies that are starting to advertise on the Internet in various forms (from blogs to affiliate marketing), and many of them are not hiring content for new channels. Putting together a cover letter and resume can open up some earning opportunities and help me get through these tough months.
2. Consider middlemen – I already work for an online company that sells my work to other people. There is no reason why I should not contact traditional companies in my area that also sell to other companies and let them know that my services are available.
3. Consider Multiple Markets – I was listening to a conference call about eBooks yesterday and someone pointed out that it’s a good idea to create material that can be released across different markets – but use only one product or idea (including free reports to get more attract visitors), sell e-books, even classes over the internet or in live situations).
Freelance online writing is more than just creating short material for a blog or ezine. Sharing knowledge and skills through different media channels is a way of life. The best way to increase your freelance income and expand your freelance writing success is to push the boundaries of your opportunities so you can push the business frontier in all directions.
Place For Freelancing and Outsourcing for a content writer
MyTino is a platform for freelancers from different backgrounds to interact with local and foreign employers. The MyTino job database contains not only jobs from MyTino users, but also from third-party affiliates to form a comprehensive compilation of the opportunities available to freelancers – and to provide a steady stream of capable, willing and willing writers for build buyers. Say service. For the buyer, MyTino’s outsourced phase makes signing writers easy and inexpensive. Traditionally, without the compliments of outsourcing to overseas markets, the cost of a business for a company just to advertise is: images and texts, content, logo design, website design, a significant number. With the introduction of market outsourcing, the capital invested in design is reduced to a fraction of the cost, while the quality output of manual production remains valid. Outsourcing is a smart way for anyone buying freelance services to save money; MyTino is a great site for freelancers and buyers in many ways.
For buyers, MyTino offers them various creative ways to fulfill their wishes. Take, for example, the competition section of a social networking site for a job database. There, buyers can post contests and freelancers compete for a fee after completing a job, which is once delivered. For buyers, this means getting lots of suggestions from potential customers to dig through and maybe even get ideas, but just pick one. This form of social brainstorming is an effective way to grow, change or adapt any business to meet owner expectations. For buyers and suppliers, MyTino acts as an intermediary to protect against any theft that takes place in the online freelance environment, as both parties involved are at risk. MyTino acts as a secure vault and holds the buyer’s money while the freelancer completes the task, after both buyer and freelancer are satisfied, the buyer releases the money into the freelancer’s custody and the transaction is complete. For both parties, this instills a sense of confidence that every freelancer needs to perform their assigned tasks effectively.
For freelancers: writers, artists, designers, creative minds; participating in competitions is the obvious way to get a contract and requires skill, being quick and maintaining the ability to make sure they get paid for their time. Freelancers can also present themselves as top candidates for other employers in this way and even increase their chances of becoming long-term customers of certain companies. For freelancers, winning the game is a testament to ability, dedication, and desire that helps employers define personality, which translates into work habits, ethics, and other similar behaviors. On MyTino, contests are one of the primary ways to raise money, along with their vertical job search tools, browsing features, and other tools designed to boost the freelance market. MyTino provides a stable platform for freelancers and buyers to conduct business and negotiate safely, reliably, efficiently and effectively.
